In a recent email from Russell Richards I would learn of an exciting event taking place in Charlottesville called the "Charlottesville Wunderkammer" (wonder cabinet) that combines elements of vaudeville, the circus, and the freakish sideshow act of yore. There will be firedancing, juggling, comedy, burlesque, and lots of other cool things, including a nine-by-twelve-foot 'sideshow banner'" ... which he painted and represents Richards' largest painting ever!Wunderkammer runs through August 6, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Pay what you can on Sundays.
