PETS-DC 16th Annual 'Pride of Pets' Fun Dog Show Took Place at Dupont Circle Yesterday

Founded in October 1990 as a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with HIV/AIDS or other disabling conditions and their companion animals PETS-DC provides public health education, exercise, pet food, veterinary care, grooming, foster care, and adoptions services at no cost to individuals in the Metropolitan Washington area.

Hosted by PETS-DC, the 16th Annual 'Pride of Pets' Fun Dog Show was held at Dupont Circle yesterday afternoon on Sunday, 21 June 2009 whereby proceeds from the community event will help to support PETS-DC programs.

Though I have many more photos and videos to upload of my documentation of the event click the image above to view my PETS-DC 16th Annual 'Pride of Pets' Fun Dog Show album. Which is, actually, part of my ongoing Dupont Circle WDC (2009) project.

At the conclusion of the event, by way of shouts, cheers and hand-claps ,,, the crowd selected the following three as the Peoples' Choice Best of Show.
