It's been a while since I've updated my website, as I am in the process of redesigning it, so have been a little lax on updates. But I wanted to tell you about my upcoming printmaking class at McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville VA.:
The Art of Etching
Thursdays 6-7:30 pm,
Starting April 1, for eight weeks
Students will create an edition of black and white etchings under the guidance of an expert printmaker. No printmaking experience necessary. Classes will be held in Studio 26 at the McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville VA. For adults and mature teens.
Cost of class: $225, materials included

Note: there will be additional days and evenings during the week when I will be working in the studio, that students may come by and work. This will be as my schedule allows. Also I'll demonstrate my four-color process, and am open to helping students explore other intaglio techniques. You'll get a lot of instruction for the money, and at least one full edition of etchings, by the end of eight weeks!
