The 2008 Winter Party Festival gets under way tonight in Miami with our official welcome reception, Departure Lounge, presented by Showtime Networks. Held at our host hotel, the beautiful Doubletree Surfcomber at 1717 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, the event features cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, prizes and a showcase of some of the most dynamic organizations serving the local community.The reception kicks off six days of events, ranging from the most incredible dance lineups of any annual event in the world to art exhibits and gatherings geared toward LGBT youth, families and the transgender members of our community.
