Seldom do I walk pass the Garden at Dupont Circle / East without taking a picture or two as was the case earlier today when, for the first time, that I observed a Monarch Watch Certificate of Apprection that had been awarded to gardeners Steve Aupperle and Phil Carney in September 2010 for the creation and maintenance of Monarch Butterfly Waystation #4228.A nonprofit educational outreach program based at the University of Kansas that focuses on the monarch butterfly, its habitat, and its spectacular fall migration visit their website to learn more about Monarch Watch.
