A Spotlight on John Guernsey, The Pianist ...

While pianist John Guernsey may be found performing at the Old Post Office Pavilion on most Tuesdays from 12 noon until 1 pm as was the case when I captured him last 18 December 2007 during my Holiday Season in Washington series when researching the internet for the purpose of this blog posting I learn that the Takoma Park resident is not only a Tin Pan Alley jazz and blues pianist who did a spell as a rocker in the hippie generation and once wrote an edgy song that Emmy Lou Harris recorded but, that, the Montgomery County pianist instructor is also an accomplished artist.

Here is a Google document that I prepared that highlights pertinent information found on the internet regarding the musician and artist John Guernsey of Takoma Park, Maryland.

Here is my Pianist John Guernsey - Old Post Office Pavilion / WDC - 18 December 2007 video compilation.

Pianst John Guernsey performs at the Old Post Office Pavilion at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue in NW Washington DC on most Tuesdays, throughout the year, from 12 noon until 1 pm.
