NYC street photographer and an HP's 2008 Be Brillant Artist Lorenzo Dominquez, aka Lorenzo!, will be holding two "25" events over the weekend of 24 - 25 October 2008.On Friday night, 24 October, the public is invited to the free 5 - 7 pm opening reception of the 25 Decisive Moments: The Beauty of Life on The Streets of New York City, 2005-2008 exhibition at Jay-Z's 40/40 NYC Club at 6 West 25th Street at Broadway.
50% of net proceeds from print sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The NY LGBT Community Center, The Little Church Around the Corner and 2008 New York Life United Way Campaign.
Then on Saturday, 25 October and in celebration of 25th anniversaries of the PDN PhotoPlusExpo, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the New York LGBT Center ... the public is invited to Lorenzo's 25! Book Launch Party at the Red Sky Bar and Lounge at 47 East 29th Street.
Register for FREE until October. $10 tickets after 20 October.
All attendees will receive "Jazz Performance" debut album by jazz artist Mark Rapp, a dance party with notable DJs including DJ John Davis of Body & Soul and DJ Soundwave, an open bar of sponsored liquors·, a gift bag with materials from event sponsors and a chance to win one of many raffle prizes.
