Celebrate Independence Day by listening to my Beyond Space (Uplifting Trance) Mix

Even while in the process of the GLBT Pride 2009 Series I was researching and listening to possible selections for my Independence Day 2009 UPLIFTING TRANCE mix.

I first fell in love with trance music when in October 2003 that I purchased Paul van Dyk's Reflections as a 50th birthday gift to myself.

An excellent resource for trance music is DJ Hans Groover of The Trance Mix at the PodOmatic site and his complete archive which dates back to 2007.

Click the cd cover to listen to and/or download my BEYOND SPACE: Uplifting Trance (28 June 2009) dance mix which features this tracklist.

Happy 4th of July!

Lake County (IN) Pipe & Drum Band served as hosts of 2009 NPW Emerald Society & Pipeband event

Now that some dust has settled and I've had a little time to regroup from last month's 2009 National Police Week event when posting a few images of this year's 15th Annual Emerald Society & Pipeband March and Ceremony ... I learn by way of the NLEOMF blog posting that .. The Lake County (IN) Pipe and Drum Band was the host unit for this year’s event.

While I have not yet uploaded any video projects of my 15th Annual Emerald Society & Pipeband Marcch & Ceremony documentation, click the image to view more Lake County (IN) Pipe & Drum photos and my 15th Annual Emerald Society & Pipeband March photo album. Which is also still under construction.

My "I Am What I Am" Mix Celebrates This Weekend's NYC Pride

Perhaps, if I had more time I may would have been able include songs from the 1969 Billboard Top 100 list in the I AM WHAT I AM mix which celebrates the 2009 NYC Heritge of Pride and commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.

But, since, I try and compile dance mixes that reflect a gradual bpm increase or decrease ... and limited to the 80 minute cd format ... it just did not work out that way.

Whether, or not, you are heading to NYC for this weekend's Heritage of Pride and 40th anniversary of Stonewall Riots, the final and 5th installment of my GLBT Pride 2009 series entitled I AM WHAT I AM ... featuring classic 'gay' disco, house, progressive house and trance ... is a mix that will make you dance your ass off!

In fact, you may wish to download the entire GLBT PRIDE 2009 series as individual cds or for your mp3 player. Each, just under 80 minutes, by the time you reach NYC ... you're be ready to DANCE and PARTY YOUR ASS OFF!

Here are the four other mixes from the GLBT Pride 2009 series:
If all goes as planned ... next weekend's trance mix will celebrate Independence Day!
