FotoWeek DC and the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design will host a Summer Kick-Off Party on Thursday evening, 22 July 2010, at the Corcoran, for the upcoming 2010 FotoWeek DC event which will take place 6 - 13 November.Enjoy cocktails, small bites, music by Matthew Hemerlein + DJ Chris Nitti, photo projections, and learn about all that is to come for FWDC 2010 by registering and purchasing $20 tickets online.

2010 FotoWeek DC International Awards Competition Launches - Act Now & Save!
The 2010 FotoWeek DC International Awards Competition has just launched and is looking for your best work!Entries may be made in 12 different photography categories, for both Single Image and Series, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd cash prizes being awarded. In addition, there is a special category called Spirit of Washington, with a cash prize of $5,000, which recognizes images that capture the essence of Washington in all its forms.
