Freelance photographer and National Press Club member Nancy Shia who is a Commissioner of the ANC 1C-06 District was arrested early last Sunday morning while photographing police conduct during the chaotic bar closing hours of a crime plagued area of Adams Morgan.A group of photographers and civic activists have formed the RED RIBBON BRIGADE and will GATHER AT ANGLES TONIGHT (Saturday, 25 October 2008) for a a demonstration in support of Nancy Shia to take place from 11 pm until after closing.
