Open V2 vodka Bar from 10pm to 11pm. Free all night.
On Sunday, 17 February 2008, Josh Wood along with GBH, Nick Van Bremen, and Darrell Elmore will host the Opening Party for his new "Sundays at Socialista".
Owned by Sting, Harvey Weinstein, the Ciprianis and the past doorman at Bunglow 8, it's "the" hot spot right now. Madonna partied there this week with Ashton and Demi. So can you. Tucked underneath the historic Riverview Hotel on Jane Street and the river, Socialista recreates the look, food and drinks of colonial Cuba.
Josh Wood, GBH, Nick Van Bremen, and Darrell Elmore, we will host drinks, dancing and dinner every Sunday from 7pm to midnight. Think the Garden of Ono or Bowery Bar with a fashionable Cuban edge. Extended hours for the opening and it's a three day weekend. Lina will spinfrom 7pm to 1am. Please arrive early.
The Socialista Cafe & Lounge at Riverview Hotel is located at 505 West Street (West Side Highway) at Jane Street and the corner of 10th Avenue.
